INTERCONNECTED SYSTEM EMERGENCIES

If an emergency situation exists with the Electric Reliability Council
of Texas, Texas-New Mexico Power Company will take the proper
steps to comply as ERCOT guides dictate.  It may become
necessary to request a voluntary customer load reduction through
the local media.  We have trained staff to coordinate these efforts.
