TNMP Sends Crew to Arkansas to Help
Restore Power
for Thousands Affected by Storm
(FORT WORTH, Texas) –
TNMP sent a 23-member crew this morning to Arkansas to assist Entergy Arkansas, Inc. with restoration efforts after a winter storm left thousands of Arkansas homes and businesses without power.
The TNMP crew includes lineman, engineering, mechanical and safety personnel from Clifton, Lewisville, Friendswood and West Columbia in Texas. They will be stationed north of Little Rock in Newport for approximately a week.
This is the ninth time in five years that TNMP crews have left their
homes and families to help another utility restore power in the
aftermath of extreme weather. Electric utilities routinely help each
other when the resources needed to respond quickly to a major storm are
greater than those available from the local utility alone.
